MICROSOFT MVP · 2026–2027

Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

Award Category: Developer Technologies, Microsoft Azure Technology Area: DevOps, Azure Kubernetes and Open Source

I'm a Platform and Site Reliability Engineer focused on Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, DevOps, platform engineering and multi-cloud technologies. Alongside my professional work, I'm actively involved in Sri Lanka's developer community, leading and organizing Microsoft-focused and open-source initiatives including the Sri Lanka Developer Forum and Cloud Native Sri Lanka. I regularly contribute through technical sessions, hands-on workshops, mentorship programs and community events, with a strong focus on helping students, early-career engineers and professionals build practical skills in cloud, Kubernetes and modern software delivery.

Note

Production systems are distributed state machines. Platform engineering is not writing YAML — it is designing golden paths, hardening boundaries, and automating the 2 AM failure modes.
